Cherry Bars

Ingredients

1 cup butter
1 ¾ cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
2 cans cherry pie filling

Directions

Step By Step With Photos

Cream together butter, sugar & eggs.

Add in vanilla, baking powder & flour.

Mix until well combined.

Pour 2/3 of the batter onto a greased 16X19″ pan.

Spread the two cans of cherry pie filling over the batter.

Dot remaining batter on top of pie mix and bake.

Bake at 350ΒΊ for 25 minutes. Let cool.

Drizzle with your favorite vanilla frosting.

Recipe: Cherry Bars

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In mixing bowl cream together butter and sugar and eggs. Adding one egg at a time.
  2. Then you will add in the vanilla, flour and baking powder
  3. Spread 2/3 of the batter onto a greased 13X19” pan.
  4. On top of this batter, spread the 2 cans of pie mix on top.
  5. Dot remaining batter on top of pie mix
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
  7. Let cool and drizzle with vanilla frosting. Find my homemade frosting recipe here.
