Whether you’re a sports fan or not, you’re probably still participating in tomorrow’s Super Bowl festivities and by that I mean…enjoying the food, watching the commercials and seeing what the half-time show will be all about. I’m excited this year to be hosting some friends at the house, where I will also be making some of the recipes below!
Trying to decide what to make doesn’t have to be tedious or stressful, but it for sure has to taste good! So if you’re looking for that perfect appetizer, snack or sweet treat recipe to share with your family and friends and is simple and guaranteed to taste good…I’ve got you covered.
1. Pretzel Rolos
If you’re not a baker, these are for you! Probably one of the easiest snacks to put together that you and your guests won’t be able to stop eating. All you need are pretzels, Rolos and pecan halves, 10 minutes and these Pretzel Rolos are all yours!
2. Crack Dip
A party isn’t complete without a good dip that you can’t seem to keep going back too! Simply mix together sour cream, packet of ranch dressing mix, bacon bits and shredded cheddar cheese, refrigerate and serve with chips or crackers. Once you have a taste, you will 100% know why it is called Crack Dip. haha! Grab the recipe here.
3. Fruit Pizza
You have seen me make this recipe over and over and over again and every time I make it there is never any left. It’s a great alternative dessert, where you make a simple sugar cookie crust, add a layer of cream cheese frosting and layer on all the fresh fruit of your choice…turning into one of the prettiest (& tastiest) desserts on the table! Grab the recipe here!
4. Marshmallow Bars
These bars may become your favorite dessert. They are seriously heaven in a bite. With a thin layer of homemade brownies on the bottom, marshmallow fluff in the middle and the mixture of PB/Chocolate/Rice Kripies on the top…they are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! Full recipe here.
5. Caramel Rice Chex Mix
I make this all.the.time and you can’t beat this super quick and easy snack! Melt together Karo syrup, butter, brown sugar and pour over a box of Rice Chex and bake for 15 minutes! Grab the recipe here.
I will be making these tomorrow as my main dish to share with friends and I can’t wait to see what they think of them. My mom has used this recipe over and over when she cooks for my dad’s office and everyone is OBSESSED. She always makes these exact ones and then does another batch with ham and cheese and simply uses the same sauce over the buns. Grab the recipe here.
7. Meat Lovers’ Pizza Dip
I came across this recipe on Pinterest and it was love at first sight. Read the ingredients and instructions and knew this recipe was something I HAD to try. This is the only recipe on this page I have not made, but I will be making it for tomorrow and cannot wait to see how it turns out and felt like it was too good to not share with you! Grab the recipe here.
8. Italian Sub Sandwich Tortilla Pinwheels
These tortilla rollups are the perfect finger food and are sure to be a hit amongst your friends! Just like a sub, you can mix and match these rollups to your liking. Grab the recipe here.
9. Veggie Pizza
Because someone has to bring something that includes veggies, right!?! I love this veggie pizza as it is a nice switch up to the standard veggie and dip tray. Simply layout and bake a can of crescent rolls, layer with a cream cheese mixture and top with all your favorite veggies. Full recipe here.
10. Frozen Margaritas
There is no tailgate without alcohol and I’m not a huge beer fan, so these homemade margaritas are my go-to drink and you and all your guests will be obsessed with them too! Full recipe here.
