Happy Thanksgiving Week! I cannot believe it is already here and I know everyone is going to be baking up all.the.things. this week. So depending on whether you are team pumpkin pie or bars, I think we can all agree that one of those recipes MUST be made the week of Thanksgiving! And I am TOTALLY team pumpkin bars! Every year I am counting down the days/minutes until I can make these on October 1 and as soon as Thanksgiving is over…that’s it until next year. 🙁 Whether you’re looking for something easy to take to a Friendsgiving, work potluck or pumpkin pie simply isn’t your thing…than THIS recipe is for you! It takes literally five minutes to mix up and I promise you cannot mess up this recipe. Simply add the ingredients to your mixing bowl and using a mixer, mix together…yes, it really is that easy and I PROMISE everyone will LOVE you for making/bringing them.

Friday + S’more Lovin’
Halloween is only a few days away, but don’t worry there is still time to make one of my favorite Halloween treats. If you’ve hung around my mom and I, we have probably introduced you to these Nutter Butter Ghost Cookies, you’ve learned how addictive they are and you may be one of the many, who asks us to make them year after year!
Nothing screams raspberry season like going back to Iowa and picking raspberries with your mom. A family friend has a large patch of raspberries and we were lucky enough to get to go pick and enjoy them while I was home. We picked SO many that there was plenty for me to bring back to North Carolina and enjoy/experiment with. So I figured, this was the perfect opportunity to try some new recipes. I asked you all on Instagram which you would prefer: a breakfast or dessert recipe and of course the results were SO close and after researching recipes, I knew there was NO WAY I could just make one. So I am kicking off the first raspberry recipe of the season with: Dark Chocolate Raspberry Pie Bars. I KNOW. The name says it all! I knew as soon as I saw this recipe, the simple ingredients and how quick and easy it would be to make these, they would be the dessert option I would try! Below you will find the ingredients, recipe and step by step instructions on how to make these.
Happy Monday, friends! It has been a cold and rainy day here and looks like it is going to be that way for the rest of the week. When the weather gets like this, I am ready to break out all of my favorite dishes, soups, etc. You will soon realize that the feel-good recipes I will be sharing frequently are things that I guarantee taste good, are easy to make and are meals that I hope inspire and make you want to sit down with your family and friends and share together!
I had seen this brussels sprout chip recipe shared over and over again on Facebook via Delish.com, so I figured I would give it a go and adventure away from my normal baked brussels sprout recipe last night, try something new and see what I thought!
